Sanibel Island is just off the coast of Ft. Myers, Florida. A causeway bridge connects Sanibel & Captiva Islands to the mainland. Much of Sanibel is a wildlife nature preserve, home to Ding Darling National Wildlife Park.
The Sanibel Lighthouse marks the eastern end of the island and has a rich history of guiding ships safely through the channel separating the island from the mainland.
These images were captured in the glorious sunrise light that brings that golden glow to another memorable day in this island paradise.
I have printed many of these dramatic sunrise images on high gloss aluminum material.
